Guacamole & Hummus

I can't say that I love Mexican or Arabic food because most of it is too much spicy for me. However, I absolutely love guacamole and hummus. Absolutely.
Wanna know the best? They're both easy to prepare and you have kind of a "pluri-national" dinner in a few mins!

More good news: guilt-free! Both perfectly healthy.

GUACAMOLE
To make a nice bowl you'll need:
-2 ripe avocados
-1 small tomato
-1/2 sweet onion
-a pinch of salt

Mash your avocados with a fork. Chop the tomato and the onion in very very small cubes and add a pinch of salt. Mix all together with the avocado and you're done! Serve it with fried crispy tortillas all around. It has to be quickly eaten or otherwise it will become a bit brown and we want it green and nice like this:

HUMMUS
-300 gr cooked chickpeas
-1/3 glass of water
-1/2 garlic clove
-1/2 lemon's juice
-1 tbsp olive oil
-big pinch of salt
-pinch of cumin
-pinch of sweet paprika
-pinch of chopped parsley

As you can see it's all about "pinches". Now pay attention: put it all together in a blender until it looks thick but creamy. Done!

I told you it was quick, easy and really tasty! Bon appétit!

  1. What a nice post! I also totally love guacamola and hummus! I eat guacola quite often on my breakfast bread :) Since I do not eat dariy products, both of the two recipes are perfect for me!
Thanks for your last comment! What are you studying, if I may ask :)? The job I've fond is only a part-time job, because I want to write my PHD so its not yet a REAL job ;-)

    Have a wonderful weekend!
